Canadian Museum of Civilization - located in Quebec, just across from downtown Ottawa, this museum is a definite must see for families visiting the area.

Canadian War Museum, an interactive history lesson that teaches visitors about Canada's role in wars throughout the centuries.
Haunted Walk of Ottawa - a great way to learn about Ottawa's history in an entertaining and...scary manner.
National Gallery of Canada - After touring the gallery, families can create their own art during Artissimo, an event that runs every Saturday and Sunday.
